Short Report is available here.

‘The Journey' project established development roadmap that would bring Springfield  to  the  exemplary  level  of  Better  City,  with  special focus on locally produced green energy, including hydrogen. It  addresses  technology  and  innovation challenges  in  integrated  way, optimizing  performance perspectives of energy, mobility, urban space, buildings. Development goals are well defined and accompanied by  list  of  actions  &  investments. Three scenarios are considered: Busines as Usual (for comparison), Zero Net Electricity and Zero Net Carbon.  ‘Integration’ is a key success factor in defining the investment priorities and a way for cost optimization. Predefined urban framework for one of the precincts is proposed as a showcase of the roadmap application.
