Tractebel recertified according to the ISO 37001:2016 standard

09 Jun 2022

Tractebel’s Anti-Bribery Management System has been recertified for an additional three years against the ISO 37001:2016 standard, under the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) National Accreditation Board.

Speeki Europe, a leading international provider of ESG and compliance certifications, has recertified Tractebel to the highest compliance standards, ISO 37001:2016.

Designed by experts from around the world, the ISO 37001:2016 standard on Anti-Bribery Management Systems is an internationally recognised way to demonstrate commitment to and implementation of best practices and controls. It offers a balanced approach to meeting anti-bribery objectives and obligations, while acknowledging stakeholders’ expectations and building trust.

“As compliance and ESG management become more complex, organisations must be sure they are leveraging the right frameworks and benchmarks to keep their businesses protected,” says Speeki’s CEO Scott Lane. “This recertification is a testament to the value of ISO standards for ESG and compliance risk management, in a constantly evolving context.”

Tractebel’s ISO 37001:2016 recertification emphasises our continued commitment to the highest anti-corruption standards,” says Tractebel CEO Philippe Van Troeye. “Our ethics principles are the foundations of our business and a key driver for our future growth. All Tractebel staff must be committed to fully respecting and promoting these ethics principles in an exemplary way. To be compliant with ethics is a basic rule that is integrated in our business activities. Doing business with ethics is condition number one.”

Both parties are proud of this achievement, and Speeki Europe is pleased to contribute to the continual improvement of Tractebel’s anti-bribery initiatives. See Speeki's press release on Tractebel's recertification here.
