Tractebel confirms its position as a trusted engineering partner for renewable projects in Vietnam with a new owner’s engineering mission for the construction of the Tra Vinh 3 wind farm.

For the next 30 months, Tractebel will act as owner’s engineer for the development and construction of the 48 MW Tra Vinh 3 wind farm in the South-West of Vietnam. Entrusted by Refrigeration Electrical Engineering Corporation (REE), one of Vietnam’s major energy development companies, this new project confirms the successful positioning of Tractebel on the booming renewable energy market in Vietnam.

Tra Vinh 3 is a first-of-a-kind nearshore wind farm project which will be erected in a tidal mudflat area 2 km off the coast of the Mekong delta. Tractebel’s scope of services includes feasibility and detailed design studies review, independent energy yield assessment and EPC and O&M procurement support.
