Challenge

To support growing fuel demand and strengthen petroleum product distribution across Assam, India, the client launched a major infrastructure expansion programme. The project includes the addition and modernization of storage tankages, truck loading facilities, pump houses, product pipelines, fire-fighting systems, electrical and automation infrastructure, and associated non-process facilities to increase capacity, reliability, and operational efficiency.

Impact

The expanded facilities will improve product availability, increase distribution efficiency, and support the continued growth of the client’s reseller network.

The project’s excellence has also been recognized internally by IOCL, receiving the prestigious Best Brownfield Project Site award for two consecutive years. The recognition reflects outstanding performance across key criteria, including project execution, physical progress, CAPEX management, health and safety, quality assurance and quality control, construction management, and overall project governance.
