The emblematic structures of the new Longchamp racecourse, designed by the Architect Dominique Perrault, consists in a large steel-concrete mixed structure design to ensure an exceptional visibility of the runaway and the transparency of the volumes inside the building. The justification for such a structure necessitated advanced and complex studies, based on the latest international experiments in this field.
