Itá Hydropower Plant

The Itá Hydropower Plant is located on the Uruguai River between the States of Santa Catarina and Rio Grande do Sul, Southern Brazil. Itá started its operations in 2001 and has 5 generation units of 290 MW each, totalling an installed capacity of 1,450 MW.
