ENR 2025: Tractebel earns Top 5 ranking in three market categories

Our company came out in the top five in three categories of the 225 world’s biggest international design firms by revenue in Engineering News-Record’s (ENR) 2025 annual ranking.

We placed first in hydro plants design, second in Data Centres, rose one spot to fourth in Nuclear Plants, gained four spots in Transmission & Distribution, and placed in the top 10 in two more categories. The 2025 ENR ranking is based on companies’ 2024 turnover.

Tractebel is committed to driving the energy transition on a global scale, as confirmed by our rankings in low-carbon technologies, adding value for our clients and partners by providing top expertise in these markets wherever we operate. We ranked eighth International Power Design Firm Overall by revenue, up one position over the previous ranking, and placed eighth in Cogeneration Plant Design. Rounding out Tractebel’s rankings are 12^th in Transmission & Distribution (up four spots), and we held steady at 23^rd in Ports & Waterways.
