Growing in Vietnam

16 Nov 2020

We reinforce our presence in Asia Pacific by opening its representative office in Hanoi, Vietnam to keep up with the country’s growing demand.

We are proud to announces our strategic expansion with a new office in Vietnam. This addition aims to enable our experts to better serve the growing demand in energy and infrastructure projects locally.

Over recent years, Vietnam’s appetite and ambitions in infrastructure and clean energy have grown significantly, and Tractebel has successfully become a market pioneer contributing with its experience and knowledge. Some of the most significant recent successes  include Owner’s Engineering missions to deliver large-scale ground mounted solar PV and onshore and nearshore wind projects, such as the 48MW Hong Phong 4 solar farm, 39 MW Song Luy solar farm,  40MW Dai Phong wind farm, the 48MW Tra Vinh wind farm, and the 141MW Bac Lieu and 30MW Soc Trang wind farms. Tractebel  will also act as owner’s engineer for a consortium, which includes international investors, to conduct a market survey of potential EPC tenderers qualified to carry out gas to power projects.

Our decision to open an office in Hanoi City, the capital, aims to better serve the market and its clients.

Drawing on resources and professional experiences from the Tractebel global network, our plans to assist clients in clean energy projects and contribute to the energy transformation in Vietnam. This move is a strong testimony of Tractebel’s commitment to serve the Vietnamese market in realising the country’s vision of a sustainable future.
