Tractebel is committed to becoming a reference in gender equity. Our goals by 2030: 

  • < 2% gender pay gap for equivalent roles 
  • 40% women in management roles by 2030

What We’re Doing

  • Training: Inclusive leadership and unconscious bias training for all levels, including for the recruitment teams
  • Leadership training: specific leadership training for women leaders, including coaching
  • Mentoring: Programs tailored to young talents and managers
  • Career paths: Clear development goals supported by our managers to grow in the company
  • Awareness: International Women’s Day events, bias workshops, and sharing of best practices

Measuring Our Progress

We use tools like EQUIDIV, developed by our HR experts, to track pay equity and guide corrective actions. In 2022, the gender pay gap across the group stood below 2% – and we’re working to improve further. 

We have an HR Strategic Dashboard that allows us to monitor key indicators across the Group on a monthly basis, such as the percentage of female managers, the share of female manager hires, and the resignation rate among female managers.

Beyond the Workplace

Tractebel supports external initiatives to drive systemic change: 

  • Partnerships with schools and foundations to inspire young women to become engineers 
  • Mentoring programs of young students with diverse backgrounds to support underrepresented youth 
  • Participation in industry events like Rise & Lead to share and learn

Inclusive Recruitment & Youth Empowerment

We actively promote access to engineering careers for all – especially young people from underrepresented or disadvantaged backgrounds. Initiatives like “prépa apprentissage” and mentoring through industry networks help open doors.
