Mannok - Decarbonisation of heavy transport

The Challenge

Tractebel’s mission in the Mannok project is to support the decarbonisation of heavy transport by enabling the use of renewable hydrogen to power the company’s truck fleet. This initiative aligns with our commitment to advancing clean mobility and reducing industrial carbon footprints.

The Solution

We conducted a detailed feasibility study and performed value chain sizing to define the optimal hydrogen production and distribution setup. Our approach ensured that all technical, economic, and operational aspects were aligned for a successful transition to green fuel.

The Impact

Tractebel delivered Front-End Engineering Design (FEED) and managed multi-package tendering, supported by customised engineering services. This enabled a cost-effective and scalable project development strategy tailored to Mannok’s specific needs and sustainability goals.
