Ak Bank Data Centre

The Mission

The complex consists of Ak Bank Data Centre and Ak Bank Living Centre, providing social services to 3,000 Ak Bank employees and forming the heart of the technological infrastructure of Ak Bank. Built in a 75,486 m² area, RED provided Data Centre consultancy services for this project.

The Challenge

The project required meticulous technical management, encompassing various aspects such as conducting site inspections, rigorous testing, and commissioning to ensure optimal functionality. Additionally, the facility underwent Uptime certification, validating its reliability and performance. Separate UPS technologies were implemented, with DRUPS for mechanical loads and static UPS for IT loads. The infrastructure was designed to support a total critical IT load of 3,810kW for four white spaces and two Meet-Me Rooms. Operations scenarios were meticulously developed and implemented to ensure seamless operations.

The Impact

RED’s commitment to excellence was showcased through the diligent management of every detail, delivering a facility that met the highest standards of quality, reliability, and operational efficiency. The project achieved Uptime Institute Tier III Facility certification, setting a benchmark for future projects. The successful completion of IST and the Tier III certification further validated the reliability and performance of the facility.
