The Mission
To develop a state-of-the-art hybrid data centre in Johor Bahru dedicated to supporting information and communication technologies (ICT) equipment. This facility is designed to meet the diverse and evolving needs of modern technology applications, featuring advanced infrastructure such as energy-efficient systems and robust security measures. RED aims to deliver cutting-edge solutions to help businesses and organizations achieve their digital transformation goals.
The Solution
RED, serving as the MEP design consultant, is providing comprehensive design services and construction support for the initial phase of the data centre, which includes a 33kV substation, visitor centre, and one data hall. Future phases will see the addition of eight more data halls and a 275kV substation, all designed with prefabricated ICT equipment to achieve a PUE of 1.3 and LEED Gold certification. RED’s involvement also strengthens its expertise in liquid cooling systems, leveraging Artificial Intelligence (AI) to meet market demand for high-density and high-performance computing environments.
