In May, international wind power experts gathered at the WINDFORCE convention in Bremerhaven. As a specialist in the offshore wind market based in the region, Tractebel DOC Offshore sponsored the event and brought its expertise to the subject-matter discussion.
The two-day conference focused on the latest information and innovative technologies. Another aim of the event was to promote intensive networking within the sector and the development of new business relationships.
Brazilian delegation
On the initiative of Tractebel Brasil, a delegation from Brazil combined their conference trip with a visit to Tractebel DOC Offshore. The trip was organised by the German-Brazilian Chamber of Industry and Commerce and experienced management consultant Johannes Dimas. Making the journey alongside decision-makers from well-known Brazilian companies were representatives from Petrobras, Mitsui & Co. and Doisa Engenharia.
Tractebel DOC Offshore welcomed the delegation to its headquarters in Bremerhaven and presented its knowledge in the field of offshore wind construction. Part of the ENGIE Group, the company offers a wide range of services for its customers’ wind power activities. Hosts and guests utilised the successful meeting to strengthen their contacts and discuss possible cooperation in the emerging Brazilian offshore wind market.
