Following up the Energy Transition workshop held in Brussels on 15-16 January, Tractebel is appointed by CI-ENERGIES to carry out an international seminar on the energy of tomorrow and the related technologies in Abidjan, Ivory Coast.

This seminar will take place in Abidjan-Plateau, Maison de l’Entreprise (CGCI), on 29-30 November 2018.

The seminar is dedicated to the financial partners of CI-ENERGIES (Eximbank China, EximBank India, World Bank, European Investment Bank, EU Delegation, African Development Bank, Agence Française de Développement, Islamic Development Bank, West African Bank, JICA, KOICA, PROPARCO, GIZ, KFW, USAID and the Economical Services of France, Belgium, China and India Embassies) as well as its technical partners (Ministère de l’Energie et des Energies Renouvelables, DGE, ANARE-CI, CIE, ENGIE, CIPREL, AGGREKO, AZITO ...).

The main goal of the seminar is to support the country in its energy transition strategy and consolidate its leadership in the energy sector in the West Africa Region based on our worldwide knowhow. We will assist the Ivory Coast in defining a strategic plan and, by combining our skills in Smart grids, Renewable technologies and Energy efficiency, turn its ambition to become the energetic hub of West Africa into a realistic action plan.
