All eyes on innovation

31 May 2018

Innovation is at the heart of Tractebel and Innovation Week brings extra momentum towards the company’s 4,500 employees worldwide.

The Innovation Week, an annual event targeting all the 4,500 Tractebel employees worldwide,  took place this year from 22 May to 1 June. No fewer than 50 events have been organised simultaneously in 14 countries. Employees have been taking part in all kinds of activities such as conferences, workshops and market places.

“This year focus is on the outside world paving the way for “co-innovation”. We are convinced that additional value can be created if we team up with partners to build new products and services and if we interact tightly with clients to design the products and services that best serve them,” said Gillian-Alexandre Huart, Chief Officer Energy Transition & Innovation.

An exciting new platform called “innov@tractebel” allows our colleagues to share new ideas with their colleagues worldwide. Some idea owners are being coached and some fresh ideas have already gone to market.

Even though innovation takes place at Tractebel all year long, Innovation Week is important to bring extra momentum, intensive focus and drive on innovation.
