From November 5 to 11, Tractebel joined Belgium’s Royal State Visit to India, presided over by their Majesties King Philippe and Queen Mathilde. During the visit, Tractebel signed an agreement to support the Confederation of Indian Industry in a new national mission to identify smart cities opportunities.
Tractebel also took part in the Indo–Belgian Working Session on Sustainable Cities, where Dr. Akhilesh Kumar Jha, Product Director Hydropower, Water Resources & Infrastructure of Tractebel in India, was one of the event’s speakers. In the exhibitor’s area, H. M. The King and H.E. The Ambassador to India, Jan Luykx, paid a visit to Tractebel’s booth and were welcomed by Vivek Sehgal, CEO of Tractebel in India.
Tractebel was also an important participant in the Indo-Belgian Business CEO Forum jointly organized by the Federation of Belgian Enterprises (FEB) and the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII). Bernard Gilliot, the President of FEB and also EVP of Tractebel, addressed the participants in the inaugural session.
