Tractebel is present in Turkey since late 90’s. The company has developed particular expertise in large infrastructure projects, concerning energy generation and transmission, hydropower generation, harnessing of water resources, transport (railway and special roads), waste storage and buildings.
On 25th October our Turkish companies – Tractebel Engineering Ltd and Hidro Dizayn Su Yapilari Denetim Hizmetleri Ticaret Ltd – merged into Hidro Dizayn Mühendislik Müşavirlik Inşaat ve Ticaret A.S., following which the merged company has been renamed Tractebel Hidro Dizayn Mühendislik A.S.
This engineering company, based in Ankara, is responsible for major projects in the fields of Energy and Water. The Managing Directors of the merged company are Aldonat Köksal, Hakan Okuyucu and Denizhan Bütün.
With this merger, Tractebel will be represented through a single and stronger entity in Turkey, joining as it does the competencies of the three companies in energy and water engineering.
