Third conference United Nations to protect the Ocean – UNOC

The Challenge

Built 3 buildings and 1 ferry terminal in the Nice Port to receive international meetings.

The Solution

Tractebel conducted the Lyfe cycle analysis (LCA) of the project, identification of reuse material (metallic structure) and equipment, low-carbon material proposition in particular concrete and air conditioning equipment. Tractebel conducted also the efficiency study of the buildings in accordance with RE2020 regulation.

The Impact

Tractebel’s work enabled to eco-design the project and its buildings in relation with the French regulation, more specially to reduce the carbon footprint of the project and respect the engagement to reduce environmental impact.
