The Challenge

The project involved detailed studies and supervision for the construction of a new substation, connection to the TSO (Elia), installation of a control system, integration with the plant’s power sources, and preparation for a future test bench connection. The scope covered technical, economic, and financial aspects, with a strong focus on coordination with Elia and safety-critical infrastructure.

Tractebel provided comprehensive services including project management, monthly reporting, electrical and civil engineering design, review of manufacturer drawings, factory and on-site acceptance testing, implementation follow-up, and commissioning of the installations.
